Terms of service

Last updated: October 2026

Plain-English draft based on the ProcurePass and PassLevel5 policies. Worth having a solicitor review before launch.

1. Who we are

Procurement Skills Training (procurementskillstraining.com) is operated by Tim Young, trading as Young Procurement ("we", "us"). We provide independent procurement training. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

2. Your account

You need a free account to buy and take courses on this site. Please give accurate details, keep your password secure, and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account.

3. What you're buying

A one-off payment for a course gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access that course for as long as this site operates. It includes the course content, assessments and, when you meet the completion requirements, a certificate of completion.

Certificates of completion confirm that you completed our course and its assessments. They are not formal or regulated qualifications and are not CIPS qualifications. Build results you enter in a course are self-reported and checked against expected values; we do not inspect the tools you build.

ProcurePass, PassLevel5 and PassLevel6 are separate websites with their own terms. Buying on this site does not give access to them, and vice versa.

4. Using AI tools during a course

Our courses teach you to use third-party AI services such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Grok. You use those services under their own terms. Follow your organisation's policies, and use only AI services your organisation has approved whenever you handle real work data. We are not responsible for the output of third-party AI services, or for tools you build and use at work.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't copy, redistribute, resell or publish course content.
  • Don't share your account or let others use it.
  • Don't scrape, bulk-download or try to get around access controls.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, without refund.

6. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices include any applicable taxes; Young Procurement is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Our refund policy forms part of these terms.

7. Content accuracy

We take care to keep content accurate. AI products and guidance change frequently, so product details carry a review date. Course content is training, not legal or professional advice: check legislation and official guidance before relying on it for a live procurement.

8. Intellectual property

All course content, design and software belong to us or our licensors. Tools you build yourself during a course, using your own prompts, are yours to use.

9. Liability

We provide our courses with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from tools you build or AI services you use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Changes

We may update these terms, for example to reflect new courses or changes in the law. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders about significant changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
